Families gather. Flags fly. But if you\u2019re living through a grief or loss transition, this day might land differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe you\u2019re carrying a recent loss.<br \/>Maybe you\u2019re holding space for an old wound.<br \/>Maybe you just feel\u2026 off, and can\u2019t quite name why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my coaching work with clients navigating life after loss, I\u2019ve seen how holidays often stir up unspoken grief \u2014 not just for people we\u2019ve lost, but for versions of ourselves we\u2019ve had to say goodbye to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet, there is quiet power in this day, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because <em>independence<\/em> can take many forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It might be the freedom to set a boundary.<br \/>To step away from traditions that no longer fit.<br \/>To choose rest over performance.<br \/>To feel it all \u2014 without explanation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This July 4th, give yourself permission to honor the life you <em>have<\/em> and the life you\u2019re still building. There\u2019s no roadmap for grief, but there <em>is<\/em> a path forward \u2014 one conscious step at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re doing the brave work of healing. Even now.
