These c<a href=\"https:\/\/mentalhealth-online.com\/mentalhealth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/meditation_serene.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-830\" style=\"border: 1px solid black; margin: 10px;\" alt=\"Meditation: Benefits of Mindfulness Meditation\" src=\"https:\/\/mentalhealth-online.com\/mentalhealth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/meditation_serene-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>linical trials involved a total of 3,515 subjects.<\/p>\n<p>The findings provided scientific evidence of the benefits of meditation for people with a medical condition.\u00c2\u00a0 It included effects against depression similar in size to the effects of antidepressant drugs. Meditation programs &#8212; specifically Mindfulness Meditation &#8212; were found to result in improvements in anxiety, depression and pain.<\/p>\n<p>The review was led by Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Assistant Professor of Medicine, Dr. Madhav Goval. This researcher concluded: &#8220;Our review indicates that meditation programs can reduce the negative dimensions of <a title=\"The Life Coach Dr. for Relief of Stress\" href=\"http:\/\/thelifecoachdr.com\/coach\/coaching-products\/stress\" target=\"_blank\">psychological stress<\/a>. Mindfulness meditation programs, in particular, show\u00c2\u00a0 &#8230; improvements in anxiety, depression, and pain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So, what does this mean for you?\u00c2\u00a0 It means that <!--more-->attentive focus on the here-and-now has profound results for both medical and mental-emotional conditions.
