Why all the fuss about being Mindful?

The importance of remaining Mindful rests in the fact that what occurs in our lives happens in this present moment.  The only way to affect our lives centers on what we can do right here, right now.LIVING Mindfulness -- Relaxation in Nature!elaxation in Nature

The past is out of our reach.  It is over.  We cannot change the events — the details of those events — our actions in those events — the outcomes of those events — that have occurred in the past.

The future is not yet here.  We cannot change the events — the details of those events — our actions in those events — the outcomes of those events — that have yet to occur.

What we CAN do is be fully aware of this moment, right now.

Here is the miracle!:  By paying close and particular attention to what is occurring right now — by noticing carefully happens within us and around us — we CAN CHANGE our experience of this moment.

* By staying aware of it, we can change how we look at this moment.
* By staying aware of it, we can choose how we want to feel in this moment.
* By staying aware of it, we can actively select the words we use to communicate in this moment.
* By staying aware of it, we can write a positive script about N-O-W … then, proceed — in this moment — to put that script into action!

Such is the absolute magic of NOW!
