The Spring Season is the time for New Life and New Growth!
Here is an excerpt from Pippa Passes, a poem by Robert Browning:
The year’s at the spring
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hillside’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven –
All’s right with the world!
I love the way this poem encapsulates the pure joy and life-enhancing vibrancy of Springtime!
During this marvelous season, I urge you to get outside and enjoy the sunshine (after you apply ample sunscreen, of course!) as often as you can. The Vitamin D in sunshine is a necessary body nutrient for
* Strong bones
* T-cell function
* Eye health
In addition to boosting your body’s level of Vitamin D, the sun has amazingly beneficial effects on enhancing mood and emotional well-being. So, if you are looking forward to brighten your outlook on life — and reduce the effects of unrelieved pressure and stress — opt for a long, leisurely walk in the sunshine.
In the words of W. Earl Hall –“Science has never drummed up quite as effective a tranquilizing agent as a sunny spring day.”
