How did you do with Tip #4? As a reminder, it is: What Do You Want Today to Be?

What happened when you took the time to think ahead and decide what kinds of outcomes you most wanted to experience in your life? Were you able to see the creative workings of your subconscious mind? What happened regarding the desirable outcomes that you had fore-cast?

This brings us to Tip #5: The Importance of Staying Relaxed!

The state of relaxation is important when you use your subconscious mind to create successful outcomes in your life. The relaxation to which I refer is an inner state, deep within you. I am referring to the inner attitude of relaxation.

When you progressively relax your muscles, you create a physical state of relaxation. This can be — and, many times, is — a precursor for the inner attitude of relaxation, which can manifest as a quiet sense of confidence in the certainty of your subconscious mind as a creative force in your life.

This state of inner relaxation is POWERFUL! It reflects a certainty that the thoughts that you are forming — and the outcomes that these thoughts describe — are already coming to be. You might not yet see them around you in your physical surroundings. Yet you know that, inevitably, the reality described in these thoughts is certain to occur.

It IS coming to be …

One way to create this attitude of relaxation is to establish a quiet setting, sit down and begin to breathe deeply and slowly. As you breathe deeply and slowly, notice how you begin to become still within. Go ahead — allow that stillness to grow and expand. Feel it getting larger and larger and larger … until it fills up your whole experience.

Allow yourself to rest in this space … and feel it begin to fill you up. Now, create a positive thought. For example, let’s say that you choose the idea, “I enjoy success in my life!”

Allow this thought, “I enjoy success in my life!”, to translate into a feeling — expansive, optimistic, abundant. Imagine that this feeling encapsulates the reality of success … and that success is already there in your life, for you to enjoy.

Notice what you feel. For most people, this is a feeling of deep, complete confidence. Allow this feeling to propel your actions into success. Imagine the form that this success takes, specifically, for you in your life.

Having accomplished this in imagination, continue to relax and open your eyes. Take this image — and the accompanying feeling — with you as you embark on the experiences of your day.

Go ahead, try this out for yourself on a real-life thought. Notice your feelings … and stay alert to the outcome(s). Recognize the power of using that inner state of relaxation to augment the thought-directives to your subconscious mind.
