Tip #6: Be Mindful of Your Thoughts!

How did you do with Tip #5? As a reminder, it is: The Importance of Staying Relaxed!
What did you notice when you focused on that state of inner relaxation? What feelings were you aware of? What thoughts came to mind? What did you notice in regard to the creative workings of your subconscious mind?
This brings us to Tip #6: Be Mindful of Your Thoughts!
Noticing the contents of your mind is a productive endeavor. Rarely is the mind totally blank. Usually, there is an enormous amount of activity bouncing around in your mind!
Some of that activity is chatter — “Did I remember to get out the clothes-to-donate to Goodwill this morning?” “Was that a police car that just drove by?” “Will we have chicken for dinner this evening?” This chatter is inconsequential — it is composed of random, unimportant ideas that flit in … then flit out … of your mind.
Other of your mind’s activity can be important positive items for you to remember. Your mental activity can also include a whole variety of negative ideas.
While you are noticing the contents of your mind, pay special attention to those negative ideas. These will become negative outcomes.
Here’s why: It is the very nature of your subconscious mind to CREATE. The matter that your subconscious mind uses as source-material from which to fashion its creations are your thoughts.
Your subconscious mind creates equally well whether you are feeding it negative thoughts or positive thoughts. However, the outcomes created by these respective thoughts — the outcomes that become reality in your life — are VERY DIFFERENT: They are, respectively, negative outcomes or positive outcomes!
Now, here is the amazing, incredibly-powerful part: You can determine what those outcomes will be! You can direct the creation of your mind!
The way you do this is by directing your thoughts!!
Since you are the one at the helm — you are the one at the controls. You can TAKE CHARGE of your thoughts! If you so choose, you can make sure that you hold only positive thoughts in your mind.
By doing this, you direct the creation of your subconscious mind specifically to positive — beneficial — outcomes. That’s right: You do not need to have “potluck” in your life. You can influence the outcomes that you LIVE … by holding only positive thoughts … that, then, are created into positive reality by the workings of your subconscious mind.
I invite you to experiment over and over with this concept. I encourage you to find out for yourself how incredibly powerful your own subconscious mind is!
