Freedom is a concept that is important in our personal lives, as well. There are many ways in which we limit our More Keys to Independence!personal independence. Negative thinking is one way that creates massive limitation!

Below are 3 additional ways to combat negative thinking — and, by so-doing — to build your personal independence:

1. Build on Your Strengths
Studies show that using your core strengths cause you to view your future more favorably. If you have an aptitude with numbers, you could apply it to tutoring young people in math!

2. Create a Distraction
If you find yourself dwelling on negative ideas, switch your attention to something more entertaining. For example, sing peppy tunes, or remember a happy time you spent with someone you love.

3. Exercise Daily
Physical activity is good for your mind, as well as your body. A vigorous workout can brighten your outlook — join a free dance class or signup for a sport.

I share these Quick Tips as a gift — and encourage you to USE them over and over — as a pathway to celebrating your own Independence!
