Respecting your relationship partner and understanding his or her needs has been talked about by sexuality therapists for a long time.  Intimacy need not be centered on intercourse and ejaculation.

Enhance Your Relationship with RespectThere are a variety ways to please your partner sexually — and some of the very best, most unique ways can be discovered through direct conversation with your partner.  To find out what your partner finds most pleasurable, ask him/her.  That’s right — just ask!

Communication requires that you take time and plan that time with your partner.  Set it in both of your schedules — use special time that you spend with one another … to minimize the possibility of distractions or interruptions.  Perhaps, you and your partner plan date time … and go out for a romantic interlude that includes intimate communication and time for one another.

Without exception, the most meaningful intimate relationships begin with respect. Try it with your loving partner. Find out what a great turn-on respect can be!

“The aphorism, ‘As a man thinketh in his heart so is he,’ not only embraces the whole of a man’s being, but is so comprehensive as to reach out to every condition and circumstance of his life. A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.”

Man Contemplating: As a Man Thinketh“As the plant springs from, and could not be without, the seed, so every act of a man springs from the hidden seeds of thought, and could not have appeared without them. This applies equally to those acts called “spontaneous” and “unpremeditated” as to those which are deliberately executed.

“Act is the blossom of thought, and joy and suffering are its fruits; thus does a man garner in the sweet and bitter fruitage of his own husbandry.

Thought in the mind hath made us. What we are
By thought we wrought and built. If a man’s mind
Hath evil thoughts, pain comes on him as comes
The wheel the ox behind . . . If one endure in purity
of thought joy follows him as his own shadow – sure.

“Man is a growth by law, and not a creation by artifice.  Cause and effect is as absolute and undeviating in the hidden realm of thought as in the world of visible and material things.”

These words from the book, As A Man Thinketh by James Allen describe the amazing power of thought and the human word.  It describes how the mind creates … based on the thoughts that it is fed.  To insure your mental creations are positive, all you need to do is to keep your thoughts on a positive track.

Are you searching for good things in your life?  There is a universal secret that can bring good things your way.  It is known as the Law of Attraction Success. Understanding the Principles behind this Law can bring you happiness, Art of Allowing: Laws of Attractionwealth, and physical well-being.  A few basic Principles of the Law of Attraction can help you on your way.

Principle #1:  Your thoughts become reality.  Thoughts are things!  Your thoughts are energy … just as the entire universe is energy.  As you ponder your reality — or simply let thoughts run through your mind — you shape your reality.  This is an example of the Law of Attraction — the Laws of Manifestation — in operation.  The energy you send out attracts like energy.  Then, the universe responds to your thoughts by returning that energy back to you.  Note well:  This principle operates with equal precision whether your thoughts are positive or negative.

Principle #2:  Foster thoughts — and their resultant feelings — of happiness, gratitude, and well-being.  This is a direct application of the Art of Allowing!  This will be more effective than were you to try to change every thought individually.  Besides, it is too difficult to monitor every one of the more than 60,000 thoughts you have every day.

Principle #3:  Feelings are important to the effectiveness of the Law of Attraction.  When you keep your feelings positive, you put yourself into the position to experience life as joyous and fulfilling.  Read more

To truly achieve the positive benefits of the Law of Attraction, you have to become aware of what you’re focusing your attention on.  Doing so is a matter of directing your mind in such a way that you notice where your attention is focused.

Are you focusing on what you want? Or, have you been focusing on what don’t want?

It is important for you to be clear about what you want.  Take the time to be clear about your desires and needs.

Do you have thoughts or beliefs that are contrary to what you want? Do you feel that you deserve it?  If you truly want something, but feel you don’t really deserve it, those thoughts will be translated into energy, and the Universe will activate those feelings.

Becoming aware of what you’re spending your energy on enables you to change it.  It puts the Power in your hands!  Becoming aware of what you’re spending your energy on allows you to focus all your thoughts on the things you really want.

And, since these are the things you really want, it’s time to create that focus right NOW!

Because our thought processes are constantly working, the Law of Attraction is constantly working as well. Many thoughts occur at a non-conscious level, so — unless you pay close attention to your mind — you may not be aware of the type of energy your thoughts create.

According to the Law of Attraction, if you want something enough and you truly believe it’s possible for you to have it, you can draw it to yourself.  Your thoughts are things … with the energy of Attraction attached to them!

However, the same is true for negative thoughts.

If you spend a lot of time thinking about things you don’t want or things you fear — and you believe it’s possible for you to experience them — it’s just as likely they’ll come your way. You can’t avoid unpleasant things by hoping they don’t happen.  You also cannot avoid unpleasant things by fearing that they will happen!

Your subconscious is literal.  Your subconscious mind responds to negative energy in the same way as it does to positive energy. It doesn’t know Read more

ScienceDaily (Mar. 4, 2010) — According to research from Purdue University, the saying “You’re only as old as you feel” seems to resonate especially with older adults.  According to the study’s lead investigator, “How old you are matters, but beyond that it’s your interpretation that has far-reaching implications for the process of aging.”

Doctoral student in sociology and gerontology, Markus H. Schafer continues to explain, “If you feel old beyond your own chronological years, you are probably going to experience a lot of the downsides that we associate with aging.  But if you are older and maintain a sense of being younger, then that gives you an edge in maintaining a lot of the abilities you prize.”

Schafer and co-author Tetyana P. Shippee, a Purdue graduate who is a research associate at Purdue’s Center on Aging and the Life Course, compared people’s chronological age and their subjective age to determine which one has a greater influence on cognitive abilities during older adulthood. Nearly 500 people ages 55-74 were surveyed Read more

ScienceDaily (Jan. 29, 2010) — Researchers at New York University found that our memories are intensified during intervals of rest while we are awake. These findings appear in the latest issue of the journal Neuron.  They broaden our knowledge of how memories are strengthened.  Research studies in the past had shown how this process occurs during sleep.  Now these findings have been expanded to include the fact that memories are also strengthened during times of awake rest.

“Taking a coffee break after class can actually help you retain that information you just learned,” explained Lila Davachi, an assistant professor in NYU’s Department of Psychology and Center for Neural Science. This study was conducted in the laboratory of Professor Davachi.  The Professor continued, “Your brain wants you to tune out other tasks so you can tune in to what you just learned.”

One important conclusion about this research is that rest is ESSENTIAL to strong cognitive function!  So, if you have had the habit in the past to by-pass breaks throughout the day, you might want to re-think this habit.  You would especially want to consider altering your behavior when you are engaged in activities where memory is key.  To learn  about boosting your memory, visit http://thelifecoachdr.com/coach/coaching-products/memory-2/ today!
