Freedom and independence are concepts that are important in our personal lives. Today, we will consider 2 long-term changes that help remove the limitation that negative thinking creates on personal freedom.
1. Befriend an Optimist
Hope is contagious. An idealistic friend sets a good example and encourages harmony. Being around an optimist can be “catching”. A friend’s optimism can be easy to model, especially when it is actively being demonstrated in a variety of situations on a daily basis.
2. Plan Ahead
Feeling in control helps to boost optimism. Clarifying your strategies and goals can make it easier to anticipate obstacles. This is a powerful step toward perseverance! As your successes add up, the process becomes more habitual.
