Before you can achieve your dream, it is essential to identify what it is. What IS your dream?

Your dream is your passion. It is the event that can put a spark into your day. It energizes your experience. It is your heart’s desire. What is this for you?

Joseph Campbell (1904 – 1987) was an American mythology professor, writer and lecturer in the fields of comparative mythology and comparative religion. His work is vast; it covers many aspects of the human experience. He coined the phrase: “Follow your Bliss”.

Your dream — your passion — your heart’s desire — is what Joseph Campbell was referring to when he described “your bliss”. His complete quote is, “Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.” What is it for you that opens up the Universe … that opens for you the doors of ultimate opportunity? I urge you to take the time — today — to identify this for yourself.

There is a saying, “Life is a journey, not a destination.” This refers to the experience of LIVING each and every moment of each and every day.

The purpose of one’s life is not to get to some specific place in a given period of time. Life is not about “arriving” or “getting there” or putting off enjoyment until your “ship comes in”.

Your ship comes in everyday. The simple fact that you are able to awaken each morning — with a brand new 24 hours to experience — indicates that you are alive! In this new day, you have a myriad of experiences offered to you. You — as are all of us — are being offered a priceless gift. This priceless gift is the gift to Read more

If you have been glued to your TV or newspaper during the past few weeks, it is now time for you to STOP IT! You heard me correctly — STOP IT!

The only direction that the information with which you have been bombarded from these media sources is that of intense pessimism and anxiety. Do you need these emotions? Do you have a choice?

The answer to this question is a DEFINITE “Yes!” You have choice about what you listen to. You have choice regarding what what you think. You have choice about the direction of your thoughts.

With so much negativity running rampant, now is a perfect time for you to make wise choices about that with which you surrround yourself. During our Weekly Tips series, we have talked at length about the way your subconscious mind createswhat you are thinking. NOW is the time to put this to use — beneficially — in your life!

You can influence your own peace of mind. You can create a positive environment for your own mental state. To do this, begin to purposely think only POSITIVE thoughts … about yourself, about your own well being, about your ability to immerse yourself in kindness and joy.

When you set your mind on thoughts and acts of kindness, by that very act, you begin to surround and immerse yourself in the energies of joy and kindness. When you do so, you exert a direct effect on your own experience … and you do this in a way way that is truly beneficial and effective!

I urge you to use these ideas over and over to create a personal environment for yourself of good will and loving care. I further urge you to start RIGHT NOW! You cannot exert influence on the state of the financial world. However, by using the creative power of your subconscious mind, you single-handedly affect your own personal experience.

Does it seem as though abundance is far, far away? Have you felt overwhelmed by the dire predictions rampant on the news wires? Are you fighting panic … and afraid you don’t know where to turn?

Here’s what you can do: You can start NOW and take control of your own experience! You can stop listening to predictions of perdition and begin to create your own prosperity. And you can begin to do so Right Now! And you need not go further than your own Mind.

It is the very nature of your subconscious mind to CREATE. What does it create? Your subconscious mind creates your thoughts! Your subconscious mind takes the contents of your mind … and brings it into reality. Your subconscious mind — by its very nature — manifests your thoughts in your life!

So, if you believe that the economy is doomed … it is! Not because — objectively — it has to be. Rather, because you believe it to be so, it has to be. This is termed “self-fulfilling prophecy”.

But self-fulfilling prophecy works on POSITIVE thoughts, too! So, I challenge you to turn your thoughts in the MOST positive directions your imagination can conceive. Claim this as a part of your life … then carefully notice as it comes to be!
